A
new series of oil paintings by Lowell artist Don Ouellette. This collection of work marks a fresh
look at the seascape as we know it. There are 20 paintings hanging in the show giving the viewer a diverse
look at a day at the beach.
"Earth, wind and water. Three basic elements
treated in oil paints on canvas or linen. Moving away from the traditional landscapes that I
usually paint. I tried to come up with a more contemporary group of paintings.
Losing all buildings and touch of human kind, windswept deals with three basic
elements I chose to highlight." -- Don Ouellette
Don Is a member of the Lowell Art Association,
Chelmsford Art Society, Arts League of Lowell and Western Avenue Studios Art
Association. Don maintains a studio at Western Avenue Studios located on the
Fifth floor Studio number 533.
